Project Overview
Calder Group delivered a feasibility study for the client which included preliminary costing and design for the developer of the site to secure a tenant prior to construction. Calder was also awarded the contract for the design and build components of this project delivering building and resource consent applications, structural engineering and architectural design and drawings as well as leading the project management and construction for the 4200m2 site in Cromwell.
Project Stats
Total Project Floor Area – 1610m2.
This included a 420m2 shop floor, 55m2 back of house refrigeration chillers, bakery, produce, butchery with 100m2 mezzanine floor office and lunchroom, 50m2 plant/electrical room with roof top air conditioning/vent system, 40m2 cafe and 68 carparks at the front of the building.

30 in-house Calder specialists from architectural technicians and detailers to steel fabricators, engineers and carpenters.

Precast concrete panels, structural steel, king span insulated roof, Nu-Wall profiled metal cladding, polished concrete flooring.
