Project Overview

As the main contractor, Calder Group was responsible for all aspects of this architecturally designed warehouse and office space project in Wanaka, from concept through to completion.  

Calder Group’s scope of services encompassed feasibility studies, resource and building consents, civil and structural engineering, architectural design and documentation, and full project management — reflecting the company’s ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary developments under one roof.

The completed facility comprises 2,200m² of warehousing alongside three dual-level office suites, totalling approximately 880m² of premium commercial office space.

Project Team 

The Calder team on this project consists of 40 specialists including architectural technicians and detailers to steel fabricators, engineers and carpenters. 

Materials 

Calder’s concrete factory in Cromwell), structural steel (supplied by Calder’s high-tech steel pre-fabrication plant in Tapanui, Otago), Colorsteel iron roof, Alucobond cladding, office construction – timber framed with gib walls. Carparking with precast concrete retaining walls.
